BST là sự tiếp nối của color block – Phong cách của những khối màu, từ sắc trắng tinh khôi, trắng sữa, màu cát, nâu lạc đà, nâu đậm, màu ngọc trai hay xám đá, đến màu sắc đặc trưng không thể thiếu – màu đen Sicily. Dolce&Gabbana đã sử dụng vải thêu cùng chất liệu len Piacenza với những đặc tính cố hữu để làm nên độ cứng cáp trong form dáng của các thiết kế; những bộ suits và áo khoác cũng vì vậy mà được trao cho một sứ mệnh mới, tựa như một tác phẩm điêu khắc tôn lên cơ thể nam giới.
